Watch this video with Sandy Anastasi as she explains how to take the Psychic Aptitude Test.
Let's begin. Please download the test and follow the instructions below. I'll be back in touch soon with more information on how to explore psychic ability even further.
The Psychic Development Aptitude Exercise:
Have you ever wondered if you are psychic? I believe that everyone is. I believe everyone is born psychic, but most people shut down their psychic senses to some degree as they grow up. I developed this Psychic Development Aptitude Exercise for my students to use as both a baseline to see how open and available their intuition is to them right now, and also, with continued use, as a developmental tool to help them to re-open and even help develop their telepathic, empathic, and precognitive skills.
It is my pleasure to share this exercise with you here, including a downloadable PDF of the score sheet, and your own deck of psychic cards to use on your own, or with a friend. Check below to find out how to locate and print out your exercise score sheet and your cards. You'll need to cut the cards apart. Keep them in separate piles, one for black and white shapes and one for colored shapes as you will score them separately. Please put this video on hold and I'll wait while you do that. Just click the hold button to restart when you get back.
OK. Let me explain to you some of the ways you can use this exercise and how to score it. When you do the test on your own you will only be testing your precognitive ability. When you do it with a partner, you will be testing your telepathic and/or empathic ability.
When you do the exercise by yourself I recommend working with the black and white cards first as the scoring is easier. Once you get the hang of the scoring, you can do the colored cards first if you like, or even mix them all into one pile. That's up to you.
When I work with the cards on my own to test my precognitive skill I shuffle the deck I am working with because that takes the cards out of order so my subconscious mind can't cheat. Then I put the deck face down on the table in front of me. I do not touch the deck at all except to pick up the top card. I think about or visualize what the top card will be. Then I pick it up and turn it face up onto the table. The card will either be a square, a circle, a triangle, a square or a star. If I am working with the colored deck the color would either be red, blue, green, yellow, orange or purple.
Do this yourself now, and start with the black and white deck.
After you've turned the card over, you will see a small number on the card. Look for that same number on your score sheet. The shape on the card should match the shape on the card with that number on your score sheet. If it does, put a check in the first column labeled correct choice. We often call that clear viewing or clairvoyance. If it was an incorrect choice, draw the shape you saw into the box for that card number on the score sheet. This is an important step. You see, if the next card you draw is the 'incorrect' one you just guessed, that was precognition at work. With experience doing this exercise you may begin to see a pattern among the 'incorrect' shapes you chose; people who are future-oriented in their thinking tend to be more precognitive than most. Some of my students will consistently guess shapes 2, or even 3 cards ahead. With practice you will be able to increase your precognitive ability to be more consistant, and to see further ahead. Put a check in the precognitive column next to the card you just pulled if your guess was precognitive.
As you practice guessing the cards before you turn them over, and then scoring them, you may soon find that you are seeing in your mind and guessing the last shape you turned over, almost as if you're having trouble letting it go. This is called post cognition, and is common with people who's minds tend to dwell in the past or who hold onto things emotionally. If you've been drawing the shape in the box of every 'wrong' guess, when you review your scoresheet you may become aware that you have consistently guessed a shape that was one or two cards behind the card you are calling. Again, that is post cognition, and it's not at all uncommon.
When you are all done calling and scoring the 25 black and white cards you are ready to add up your score. You will add up all your direct correct choices (clairvoyance) first. Out of 25 choices, the median would be 12-1/2 which is very uncommon and would make you the least psychic. Surprisingly, most adults have low scores the first time they do this exercise as negative programing has convinced them they are not psychic so they get a low score to prove that to themselves. Guess what? The further away from the median you are the more psychic you are, even if it's in a negative, 'not me' way! Over the years I have found my highest scorers are children or people who have never shut those psychic faculties they had at birth down. Now after you have done that initial scoring go back and add all your precognitive choices and then all your postcognitive choices. You are going to amaze yourself at just how psychic you are!
When you have done this a few times you'll be ready to do the colored cards too. Many people actually find the colored shapes easier to call correctly as color stimulates clairvoyance. The scoring is the same for the shapes, and works the same for the colors, but take your time as the colors can be correct, precognitive, or postcognitive, just like the shapes, but they get scored separately. So you are scoring two things at the same time when you work with the colored shapes. Again, when you're done add up your correct results first for cards 26-50, and see how that score compares to your score for the black and white cards. Then add your precog and postcog choices for both the shapes and the colors. Did you get one or more with both color and shape right? Wow!
When you do this exercise with a partner it is GREAT for helping to develop telepathy and empathy skills. One of you is the 'sender', holding the cards so the other, the 'receiver' can't see them. The sender shuffles the cards, then looks at only the first card, and 'sends' it to the receiver, who calls out what they see. A hint here - if you are the receiver, just say the first thing that enters your mind. If you are the sender, experiment with different ways of projecting the shape (and the color if you are working with the colored cards) to your partner. You might throw it at them, visualize it going into their forehead, imagine a physical object it reminds you of - be creative! This is your opportunity to see what works!
When you are working with a partner, the sender does the scoring. It's best to start with the black and white cards and work up to the colored ones . When you've finished with a set, switch roles, so that the person who was the receiver now becomes the sender and vice-versa. Both partners are being tested! Find out whether you are a better sender or receiver!
This is so much fun! Enjoy!
