An Overview of what to expect in 2025:

  We are beginning 2025 with a very different energy than we’ve been carrying over the last few years.  It’s going to be a welcome change for most of us.  It’s somewhat unusual to have 3 planets retrograde as we begin the year…those planets are Mars, Uranus, and Jupiter. I believe that’s going to have us all addressing past unfinished business both in our own lives and in the world in general.  As we address those past things, we’ll be uncovering a lot of things that need to be fixed, before we can move on to what we want to build. Initial ego expression and posturing will soon give way to the reality of repairing our homes, families, and social structures and activities.  It will be a good year for planning and creating new positive ways to communicate.  As a matter of fact, I think we can look forward to a complete overhaul of all our communication systems worldwide. We’ll likely see many technological advances there.  Expect major changes in finances and financial systems, the food, health and pharmaceutical industry, and childhood education. I also suspect we will see tremendous movement of people. It seems all countries will be removing illegal aliens, and there will be people left homeless without a country.  This will be a problem for world leaders to resolve together. Of course, you can see how all these things will affect each of us on an individual basis.  Let’s take a closer look.  

Here’s an overview of the 2025 year for each Sun Sign:

Aries – The Sun, Moon, and Pluto are all in your career house as we begin the year, indicating that this year will be one of tremendous growth for you as you become more firmly focused on your career and life goals.  Control issues, your own or those of a woman, partner or spouse, must be dealt with this year as they are the ‘enemy at your back’, always tripping you up at crucial times in your life.  It’s a good year for introspection. Communication, family, and career will all be pivotal during 2025.

Taurus – Something or someone important to you is dying during the 2025 year.  That death is more than physical – it involves an inner transformation that you are moving through, that you must move through, if you are to experience the freedom your soul yearns for.  Travel to visit a family member or friend will be transformative.  It will be easy to become trapped into emotionally controlling situations, so seek to avoid them and the gossip and misunderstandings that accompany them.

Gemini – With Jupiter retrograde right on your Solar ascendant this year, you’ll have a tendency to overdo all those things you’ve overdone in the past. So, watch your weight, your spending, your tendency to tell all to anyone who will listen.  Very rarely in life do we get second chances; but an important second chance is coming your way.  Pay particular attention to finances and how you are handling and setting them up this year. Plan for the big picture, but don’t forget to cover those small things too.

Cancer – You’ll be feeling a lot of responsibility and possibly stress too, especially regarding relationships, all year long. You feel like it’s all on your shoulders. You are learning that there is always a trade-off when making deals and if you want something or someone you have to accept the good with the bad. Talk out those things you are uncomfortable with.  Your good communication skills this year will save the day on multiple occasions.

Leo – Friendships near and far are going to be a great source of energy and joy this year, but they will also face challenges if you allow control issues to interfere with them. Health issues, physical and or psychological may be wearing on you. Talking everything out with someone uninvolved will be key. Death and change are all around you this year…many things including people, finances, daily activities, your place of work or residence, even your values and expectations, are getting ready to change.

Virgo – Children and childhood patterns are very important to be aware of right now. Old control patterns are being revisited, both yours and another’s.  A new perspective is required in order to move through and possibly benefit from them.  This is a wonderful year for creativity and for expanding on your own innate talents and abilities. Expect career changes, changes in your life direction and personal goals, and in friends and groups that you associate with.

Libra – There are likely going to be major changes this year in your home and family, as well as your career.  Your life goals are changing, but you are becoming more focused and clearer on the direction you want to move in.  You may divide your attention between two different paths, or localities.  Communicating your feelings is very important all year long, although there will be occasions when they may be hard to express. Work will be rewarding but often stressful. Pay attention to health matters.

Scorpio – Communication is key in all things this year.  It’s a good time for learning and for study, and for sharing knowledge and goal setting. Some old friendships and contacts will be revived and redirected into new areas of activity. Secrecy surrounds much of what you do, and all of your communications. There is a need to keep activities separated. Travel and finances will both be major focal points all year. Partnerships and relationships will be flowing and supportive, but constantly shifting.

Sagittarius – This will be an eventful year. Be wary of getting drawn into long distance battles and disagreements, especially regarding money. It’s in your best interest right now, to keep your own financial situation and personal goals and developing abilities and skills private. This may be difficult as other people will be sharing their experiences with you. Circumstances you have no control over may pull you into financial decisions and partnerships that are unexpected. Make your choices wisely.

Capricorn – Your focus this year will likely be either on travel or a move of your residence or work, or all of these.  It’s possible you may be traveling between two localities, or two places of work.  New partnerships and alliances are being developed, and they will be beneficial all around.   Careful planning is required in all things.  Diversified people, groups, and even places are being brought into equitable balance and harmony. A close friend or business partner or perhaps a spouse, is indispensable.

Aquarius – What’s holding you back? You are moving through a major internal change that’s helped you refocus and has led you to make some important decisions.  It’s time to share those insights with your children, if you have them, with your romantic partner, and with those people in business that you trust.  You may be afraid of being carried away by someone else’s dreams and desires. Set boundaries. It’s time to put your ideas into action, to take advantage of the opportunities that are here now.

Pisces – This year you’ll have some interesting issues on your plate.  It’s likely you’ll be balancing the needs of a child or romantic partner with those of a family member that you yourself depend upon.  Trying to keep everyone happy is never fun, especially when it means self-sacrifice.  You’ll need to set strong boundaries, and house rules.  Financially things are becoming exciting, but you’ll need to exercise some secrecy and be careful to maintain separation of investments, business endeavors, and people.
