An Overview of July 2025 Transits and How They Will Affect You:

Interestingly, in the 2025 astrology chart for the year, July shows an aspect between Sun, Mars and Uranus that is indicative of children rebelling against their parents, being in the process of finding themselves, and turning their attention and affections to friends and associates that help them to develop and grow in new ways.  I think this aspect reflects much of what will affect us this month, both at home, in our families, as well as in our career situations, and even in the greater world around us. Our worlds, inside and out, are being restructured.  

July’s transits are marked by a powerful Mercury-Pluto opposition that will likely cause secrecy, behind the scenes diplomacy, and power struggles involving all forms of communication, including technology.  Watch for people playing all the sides against each other. This is a great month for travel, as well as for introspection.  It’s time to place and assume responsibility, but it seems that no one wants to accept it. Most of us would rather point fingers. This will be interesting, both in our own lives and in the greater world.  

Neptune turns retrograde on the 2^nd and will continue it’s unveiling of everything. Much of this will continue to shock and surprise us.  Trust your own instincts in all situations and while making all important decisions.  Right now, it’s hard to determine what is real as what we are told to believe is shifting almost minute to minute.  Return to your own values and beliefs. 

Uranus enters Gemini on the 8^th. Journal until September 23^rd, just after the Equinox, to see how this transit will affect you for the next 7 years.  Meanwhile, Jupiter, having just entered Cancer, will remain there until July 2026.  This should be very good for all Americans, as the US is a Cancer country. Jupiter expands everything it touches. This is good for Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio as well. It’s going to increase travel and interest in other peoples and nations, for us all.  

Finally, Saturn (feet on the ground reality) and Neptune (dreamer and exposer of lies), both retrograde, and showing us the past, will be within one degree of one another at the end of the month and at the beginning of August until Saturn pulls away, being the faster planet.  Some really big revelations are coming, both personally and in the world - but don’t expect the full truth until the exact conjunction occurs on February 20^th of 2026, when both planets are direct and make their last conjunction for 29 years.

Now, Here’s a look at what’s going on for each Sun Sign for July 2025:

Aries – It may be a bit difficult to maintain your balance this month between family and home responsibilities, and your career and personal goals and ambitions.  It seems you are learning the fine art of juggling.  There is travel all around you – both short and long-distance trips are likely.  Health issues, involving yourself, your fur babies, and an important male figure in your life are important.  Don’t ignore the little symptoms. An important authority figure connected through family will soon be moving on. 

Taurus – A lot of your focus this month is on money, and your organization and handling of it.  You’re lucky this month, so money, or at least an opportunity to improve your financial situation, is available if you play your cards right.  This is a good month to visit or increase communication with a sibling or close friend who is a distance away.  Keep your conversations to yourself, though. Another sibling or friend’s motives and actions are questionable and sneaky.

Gemini – Finances, developing talents and career path, and your home and family or family of choice will thoroughly occupy you this month.  Travel and other expansive opportunities are available, and would be beneficial, but it’s unlikely you will do them.  Something, perhaps health issues, work around or the house, concerns re your chosen destination or goals, or lack of trust, keeps you from moving forward. Plans for the future are important.  New opportunities are unveiling themselves.

Cancer – Jupiter is entering your sun-sign where it remains for a year.  Everything in your life will expand, grow, move faster, and become a wee bit scary.  This is a good month to get in touch with your dreams and desires and revisit plans to manifest them.  It’s important to be in touch with your innermost feelings, in order to know who and what to trust.  Things you’ve wanted and thought about for a long time are beginning to happen. When the dream takes off, it’s out of your control.  Do you still want it?

Leo – Conflicts about money, home, a move, travel, and where and how your income will come to you, are all around you this month and absorb a lot of your emotional attention. It’s time for a change, but not everyone is on the same page.  You will likely find yourself staying in the background, waiting for the right time to act. Much depends on health issues…your own or those of a close female and/or authority figure.  Delays re your financial situation is good right now. Possible mistakes will be prevented.

Virgo – This will be a difficult month for getting along with others.  You are emotionally volatile and distrustful.  Things discovered may lead to arguments and actions you might wish you didn’t take.  Don’t forget to take a breath and center before you speak or act impulsively.  That will save a lot of hurt later on.  Some major decision re home or property must be made.  Trust issues with children and/or a loved one make choices difficult.  You sense you’re are being manipulated and you are correct.

Libra – Jupiter in Cancer has good and bad affects on you for the next year, as it moves through a square to your sun-sign.  The next year is dynamic.  It may include financial changes, renovation or a move of your home, purchase of a vacation home, a change or move of your career or your chosen life path.  Many people are moving out of your life right now, for various reasons.  Health issues for yourself, your pets, your loved ones should be quickly addressed. Scorpio – Travel or travel plans are all around you. Financial and business dealings with people re the internet or who are a distance away experience issues of control and trust. You are not on the same page.  Finances are ready to change and plans you’ve made may soon be launched.  Keep things to yourself if you want them done your way.  If married or living together your mate is going through major issues that may strain the relationship. You both seek freedom. It will soon be at hand.

Sagittarius – Your primary concerns this month center around finances – your own, or those of another, or both. Financial and career choices must be made.  You are focusing on security, but constant shifts and changes at home and on your job prevent that.  Flexibility is your solution.  Being flexible and sacrificing now will ultimately lead to the security and freedom you aspire to.  It’s time to share responsibility. Be careful who you share your secrets with, though.  Your mouth could get you in trouble.

Capricorn – A strong mediumship aspect is in your chart this month; don’t be surprised if you experience increased guidance or direct communication from the other side.  Avoid power plays with siblings, close friends, and partners. You are establishing a basis for communication now for the future.  Create a good one.  Health matters for you or someone close are improving.  If you are single and looking, you may meet that special someone through your work or theirs.

Aquarius – A change in environment at work or at home brings you happiness and is good for your creativity – and your luck! Finances are a worry for you, and are very erratic all month.  Making the right choices now can assure a solid future. Pay attention to your own health and that of someone you look up to.  Health matters could lead to some unexpected travel. Travel for pleasure, even if visiting friends or family, will bring happiness this month.

Pisces – Relationships are difficult right now. You keep getting stuck in the middle.  Trust is a key factor.  Remember, without it, there is no real relationship.  Work on building trust, and eliminate those relationships where you cannot do that.  Long distance relationships, or a career that involves a lot of traveling and puts too much stress on them, is a problem.  Something has to change. Stick to the truth even when it hurts.
