Astrological and Psychic Predictions for May 2024

First, let me wish all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day!

Now, Here’s an Overview of May 2024 Transits and How They Will Affect You:
On May 2^nd Pluto begins it’s retrograde back into Capricorn, where it spent the last 19 years.  Our window into the next 19 years that it gifted us with between January 22^nd and May 2^nd is gone.  If you have important points in your astrology chart (Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Sout Node) in a cardinal sign – Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, get ready to experience Pluto’s ‘last licks’ as it begins to move through it’s retrograde.  It will bring back events, things, even people and situations from your past…some good, some bad…but you will have to deal with them and make decisions about them all over again.  Remember to take care of what you need to, but don’t get over-emotional.  If you do, you’ll drag those things into your future. On September 3^rd Pluto re-enters Capricorn.  It turns direct on October 12^th but remains in Capricorn until November 20^th when, finally, it will be done with the cardinal signs for the remainder of most of our lifetimes.  What a journey this has been! We all will have a lot to celebrate when Thanksgiving arrives this fall. Other important transits this month include Neptune’s move to the critical 29^th degree of Pisces on May 4^th (You’ll find more about that in my editorial for May). Meanwhile, a solar chart for May shows most of the transiting planets bunched up between Pisces and Taurus, with the South Node in Libra bravely trying to counterbalance all that confusion and dissonance. This month will feel like we are on a see-saw, between war and peace, anger and love, harmony and chaos, both in our own lives and in the World.  Ultimately, deals will be struck, immobile people, objects, and situations made peace with, and peace will be made. At least for now.
         

Now, Here’s a look at what’s going on for each Sun Sign for May 2024:

Aries – You have certainly got a lot happening this month, Aries! You’ll need to sharpen your negotiating skills and maybe give up a few things in order to keep the peace at work and in your family.  Everyone is used to you running things, but this month they all want you to run it their way – and they all want something different.  Patience! You can do it! Meanwhile, take time to enjoy the outdoors, the sunshine, and celebrate a joyful reunion or two.  What a good month to get engaged, married, or give birth!

Taurus – This month is for your career and life goals, Taurus. Keep your feet on the ground and remember who is in charge! You don’t always see eye to eye with your partner, your spouse, or, but you now understand differences are ok and natural.  Your daily work or home environment and activities, including health issues, colleagues and pets, is holding you back.  Make sure this is your choice.  Put heartache behind you.

Gemini – You seem to be doing a lot of soul searching and internal work on yourself this month, Gemini.  You’re looking at both the past and the future.  Decisions have to be made. Will the past aid or hinder your choices? Relationships you have carefully built and nurture anchor you as you sort things out. Children, or those things, people and pets that are the children of your heart, have become the cornerstone of your life. Is that a help or a hindrance to your growth? Finances will guide most of your decisions.

Cancer – Are financial concerns affecting your relationships with your friends, children, even your spouse? The world is changing, and your financial situation along with it.  How you interact with all those you are close to is making you re-think those relationships.  What, and who, needs to change?  You are very close to making some important decisions.  What worked for mom and dad no longer works for you.  It is a good time for a move, or to buy or sell a piece of property. Lessons learned.

Leo – This month you are juggling all those things and people that seem to need your constant attention, Leo.  You can still do it all, but you’re getting tired. Think on what and who you cany release, before you are forced to drop something more important.  You have a close relationship with your spouse or a female that is mutually controlling. This is causing friction with your friends, with your career and life goals, and with your plans a future move or other growth.  A close friend or sibling may be helpful.

Virgo – This is an emotional month, Virgo, but a good month for you to assert yourself. Decisions need to be yours. If you are clear in your words, you will resolve many conflicts. You are finding new skills as an arbitrator, both at work and at home! Expect more responsibility and big changes at work.  Pay attention to the health issues of an important female, or your partner or spouse. Travel may be required to help handle things either at work, or regarding a family health problem. Expect sudden changes.

Libra – This month finds you working on something you are just beginning that’s very important to you.  Whatever it is that you are planning, constructing or creating, it will take time but be successful. The route to your goal will be a bit convoluted, and require small steps, but the outcome is certain.  You are learning new tools.  Be patient with yourself. Finances, children (or a pet), and home and family responsibilities are an interference with your project. Treat it as you treat your work. This is for you.

Scorpio – The balance between home, family and relationships is critical this month, Scorpio.  Don’t get bogged down by the situations of friends or family members.  Several offers or opportunities are on the table for you. Trust your internal guidance to choose between them, who to let into your plans.  You are caught between a control issue on one hand and something or someone you feel you can’t depend on, on the other. Both situations are temporary.  Look past them.

Sagittarius – This is a month of decisions and choices, Sagittarius.  You feel like you are holding onto a thin thread that connects you to all those you love and who depend upon you, but the effort required to hold onto that thread is becoming more than you can bear.  It’s time to begin to offload responsibility, create connections to new people and new things in your life. “That which you control, will eventually control you”.  Time to relinquish control and gain your freedom.  Where should you start?

Capricorn – May looks to be a very interesting month for you, Capricorn.  An opportunity is coming that will require you to give something up, and take a risk that if successful, may deliver to you all that you want.  This is a good month to start or expand your own business, or to invest in someone else’s dream business.  A partnership may have a powerful effect on your future, even where you are living. This month brings you close to children, if you have them, as well.

Aquarius – You have an emotional month ahead, Aquarius, dodging fears of things out of your control adversely effecting your life and your relationships.  Stresses between you and your family or a parent figure, and involving that which you love and care for, will create unwelcome tension. Confiding in a close friend or sibling may give insight that can avert any difficulties that arise.  You tend to see things in black and white. In your life right now, you must see those ‘shades of grey’.

Pisces – This month, Pisces, your focus will be to stay home, taking care of things there, and NOT travel, but if you do travel, you will likely meet with difficulty and not enjoy it.  You crave time alone, but also time to travel and enjoy time spent with those you can truly be yourself with. The problem is that your financial situation now requires constant attention and rebalancing. Best, perhaps, to save your sharing and confiding to those you know you can trust.  A partnership will help to relieve pressure in many ways.
