Sandy's December 2019 Editorial

Hello Everyone,

As I put my editorial-blog together for this Holiday Season I am realizing that it feels more like an ending to 2019 than the joyous beginning I usually associate with this time of year.

I think this year has both flown by and dragged by, it's been both elating and deflating, successful and filled with loss...in short, it's been filled with more radical ups and downs for most of my clients, students, friends and family than any previous year I can remember, because this roller coaster ride seems to have taken the entire world with it.

As we've approached this end of 2019 I have found myself running for the finish line along with everyone else. It seems we can't get things done fast enough.

From holiday shopping to event planning, to our latest projects at home and work we are running from one thing to another so quickly most of us can no longer remember what we were doing at this same time yesterday. Any obstacles in our path have become mere hurdles to surmount. Unfortunately for many, relationships have become mere distractions from whatever race we are running.

I find myself asking, just what is this frenzy to speed towards year end all about?

In part, I think that for most of us 2019 has been a stressful year on many fronts and we are just plain happy to be done with it, hence the speed to end it. Incidentally, 2019 is a 3 year in numerology, and usually what began in a one year ( that would have been 2017) is usually completed in the 3 year.

So are you racing to be done with something you started three years ago? 3 is also the number of expansion. Have you overreached yourself and are now racing to catch yourself up? Or have you grown into a new home, family or life situation that you are racing to master?

Likewise we have all been pushed by social media, by mainstream news, by savvy marketers, to move faster and faster. For many, that roller-coaster ride has become almost addictive.

Many of us are looking forward to the holidays as a momentary repreve. We see them as a time-out from the stress of life. So we run towards them with abandon.

As I gather my thoughts, I can almost see the year end itself as the destination. There's a feeling that if I achieve that goal, if I make it through the entire obstacle course of 2019, I will finally find relief and peace and life will begin to move forward once again on a more even, more clearly defined path.

I do wish that for us all, my friends, and I am hoping that when my Guides and I do our 'What's Coming in 2020' webinar on December 19th we'll get a sneak peak at our new path for 2020 and that it will be good for us all.

Meanwhile, I am going to embrace this holiday season in the spirit of success and joy, and comeraderie with friends and family and I encourage all of you do the same. Don't let the 'race' make you miss out on the joy of the season. Slow down. Take time for friends and family. Preserve those very special customs that make every holiday in your world so wonderful.

In my heart I know that how we each and every one of us end this year will have a powerful effect on how we experience next year.

I will be thinking about you all, my world family, and sending lots of love this Holiday Season!

Love and Light,
Sandy Anastasi
