Discover Yourself Tip #2

This is my second tip in a series of tips I am calling, “Discover Yourself”.  This tip series is designed to complement my course by the same name.  Each tip in this series focuses on a different psychic/metaphysical tool, and how you can use it for deep insight into yourself.

You may wish to check my Discover Yourself course out too!

Here’s Discover Yourself Tip #2.  Enjoy!

This Tip is about discovering YOU through the Kabbala.  The Western-Mystical Kabbala is often referred to as a literal ‘roadmap to higher consciousness’.  For seekers, the Kabbala can help you to become centered, grounded, and focused on your inner world. How you see it manifesting outside of yourself can give deep insight into your own ‘journey of the soul’, helping you to overcome obstacles, and gain deep insight into yourself.  The idea is to see the Kabbala as yourself, but also as a roadmap in the world outside of you.  The two reflect one another.

For example, think about something you are having difficulty with right now in your life.  Perhaps you are having trouble with a fellow employee at work, or a specific family member. Those interpersonal issues may seem to you as if they are the sole responsibility of the other person, but the fact is, YOU have attracted that person and that situation to you, and perhaps not for the first time.  Wouldn’t it be nice to understand why you have attracted that, and what you could change within yourself to totally eliminate those situations in the future? Change the world outside of yourself, by transforming yourself to a higher vibration of yourself.

Social issues like this example involve Hod, that is the Sephiroh, or station on the Tree of Life, which is the actual diagram or roadmap we use in the Kabbala.  Hod is the circle on the bottom left side.  Each of the lines that connect into it represent a different route, or Path, by which your issues in this situation could be resolved.

Here are some ways you can use the Kabbala right now to help to resolve that issue:

First, try meditating on the roadmap, or Tree of Life, imagining yourself sitting on that sphere that represents Hod.  Mentally see the lines, or Paths leading from it.  Are you ‘pulled’ upwards, downwards, or across into balance?  Just clearing your mind, focusing on the circle or ‘Sephiroh’ that represents Hod, and ‘feeling’ that pull will help give you direction and insight into your issue and its resolution. This roadmap speaks to your unconscious, and that’s where the work is done. When you focus and meditate, understanding comes.

    On my website,
www.sandyanastasi.com, I have free audio recordings for all of the Paths.  Which Path were you pulled towards?  I invite you to go listen to the audio recording for that Path.

Perhaps your issue was something different.  There are 10 circles, also called stations, or “Sephiroh”, and each one talks about a different aspect of life.

1-Kether is the sphere at the top of the Tree of Life, or roadmap of the Kabbalah, and it talks about leading, independence, beginnings, and being your highest and best self.

2 -Chokmah is at the top of the right pillar, just under and to the right of Kether.  It is incredibly powerful.  It talks about taking action with wisdom.  It’s very concerned with the mechanism of how things work, and getting it done perfectly. Its energy is male. This is Father energy.

3 – Binah is at the top of the left pillar, just under and to the left of Kether.  It is all-seeing, understanding, supportive, deep and mysterious.  It is female. This is Mother energy and is a source of feminine power.

4 – Chesed is on the right pillar beneath Chokmah.  It is where you feel most guided, supported, and welcomed.  It is male. It teaches and guides.

5 – Geburah is on the left pillar beneath Binah.  It is intense and has a feeling of internal pressure building towards explosiveness.  It is female but has many masculine characteristics. It helps you to overcome and transform, or if needed, go to war.

6 – Tipareth is the center of the Tree of life.  It is lower than Chesed and Geburah, but centered beneath Kether, on the middle pillar.  It brings awareness of your Higher Self, and healing.  It helps you to be centered and whole within yourself. Its energy is primarily masculine, but has many feminine characteristics.

7 – Netzach is on the right side of the Tree, lower than Tipareth, and directly under Chesed on the right pillar.  It is about nature and the natural world; animals, instinct, creativity, and the cycle of life within all things.  Its nature is feminine.

8 – Hod is on the left side of the Tree, lower than Tipareth, and directly under Geburah on the left pillar.  It is about the human world, including everything from social interactions to science, religion and government.  It is concerned with the mind and intellect.  Its nature is masculine.

9 – Yesod is beneath Netzach and Hod, on the center pillar directly under Tipareth. It is about all things soft and feminine and intuitive and dreamy.  Its focus is emotional and reactive.  Its nature is feminine

10 – Malkuth is the bottom most Septhiroth on the middle pillar beneath Yesod.  It is about the physical earth you live and walk upon, but also all things connected to the material world, including your own physical body.  Its nature is primarily feminine, with strong masculine aspects depending upon your own sex.

There are also many card decks based upon the Kabbala. I created one myself that focuses on the Paths, that is available for sale on my website.  One other thing you can do to help move through personal issues or to learn more about yourself, is to choose a card from a Kabbala deck or a Tarot deck you like, meditate on it, and let it move you through uncovering your inner self. In the traditional Tarot deck the 1-10 minor arcana correspond to the Sephiroth or stations noted above and the major arcana to the Paths.

Have fun with this.  For many, the study and work of the Kabbala can become a lifelong journey!
