Psychic Development Tip #44 – Clairvoyance

Clairvoyance, the ability to ‘see’ things in the unseen, energetic world around us that most people do not see, develops naturally as you work to open your psychic gifts and evolve your personal energy to a higher level of consciousness.

When you see clairvoyantly, you are opening your 3rd eye or ‘Ajna’ center in your forehead.  This psychic center is located at the root of your nose, and close to the center of your head.  It is physically associated with your Pineal gland – a tiny organ in your brain that swells at puberty and then becomes tiny again as people move into adulthood. Interestingly, in Yogi’s and Psychics it also tends to be larger.  Often when you are using this center you will feel a certain tingling or even pressure in your forehead, or between your eyes. The more you use your 3rd eye and stimulate it, the larger and better developed it, and your clairvoyance, will become.

Clairvoyant vision also relies on the rod receptor cells of your physical eyes, which normally see black and white, not color, and are grouped around the outer perimeter of the eye.  This is why, when you are attempting to see an aura, that is, the human energy field, you are taught to look off to the side or above the person whose aura you want to see, instead of directly at them.  That causes you to use your peripheral vision, and activates those black and white receptor’s – and your clairvoyance.

Often when you watch a clairvoyant at work, you’ll see them apparently looking off into the distance, not directly at you. That’s because they are activating their clairvoyance while using their peripheral vision.

It is possible to see color clairvoyantly, of course…but the colors are received via the 3rd eye itself.  You can train yourself to do that.  In my classes I teach my students to first exercise their 3rd eyes by frequently gazing at the Crown Center Mandala found on the covers of all my books.  Next, I teach them to use their peripheral vision to see the black and white version of the aura, which usually is a thin layer of white immediately around the person, and then a two-to-three-foot egg-shaped field surrounding them that is gray-ish or colorless but often looks like heat waves rising from an asphalt surface on a hot summer day.  That’s the part of the aura where colors may be seen.  I call that the ‘astral aura’.

Training yourself to see colors in the astral aura is easy, but takes some imagination and a lot of self-belief.  First, you ask your higher self what color you will see in the aura.  Whatever color pops into your head is what you will go with.  Using your imagination, project that color outward until you can imagine it in the aura.  Then tell yourself you are actually seeing it.  Then allow yourself to ‘see’ physically, what you have projected with your imagination.  If you do this exercise every time you attempt to see an aura, in time the color will simply appear in the aura without your asking.  This will lead, eventually, you your fully seeing the brilliant, dynamic colors that are actually in those auras when you ‘look’ with your 3rd eye wide open.
