Psychic Development Tip #7 - Divination
I encourage my psychic development students to learn some form of divination to augment their psychic development. Many psychic development teachers only teach psychic development itself, and don't include learning to use tools such as a pendulum or psychometry or tarot cards or astrology or numerology.
When you are first learning to open your psychic senses it can be overwhelming to open to feelings and impressions and visions and messages that don't make a lot of sense to you yet; learning to use a divination tool can help to keep you grounded and focused. Because of this, I don't insist on it, but I do encourage, all of my students (including you) to reach out and learn one or more tools to augment their ability.
Even experienced psychics benefit from having a divination tool they can use in addition to their own psychic skills. Many times the information provided by your psychic senses, and even by your Guides, may be unlcear. Using some form of divination can help to clarify the message.
Often professional psychics rely on tools like tarot or psychometry to help strengthen their connection to their client and their Guides, and sometimes even to do an entire reading. This is especially useful if the client (as sometimes happens) is blocking the psychic information from coming through. People who are over emotional or fearful or just plain new to getting psychic readings often unintentionally block a psychic from reading them. When that occurs, the divination tool will still work.
Many psychic development teacher's ask their students to hold off on learning any divination tool until after their psychic abilities are already well developed because they fear their students will become dependent upon the tool and their psyhic skills will never fully develop. I have found that is not at all the case. In fact, many divination tools, most specifically the tarot, actually help your psychic senses to develop and evolve.
