Hello Everyone,

     

I always think of January as the most important month of the year.  We’ve all just come through the rush and hype of the holiday season, and we push through that ending of last year with the same powerful last effort push of a football player crossing the goal line after having run his fifty yards passing in, out, over and through too many hurdles and blocks to count.  

 

Needless to say, panting, we lie in recovery on our little patch of green grass just on the other side of the goal.  And having arrived there, we languish, recovering from our sprint to the finish line.

     

That recovery time is important, but costly.  When we withdraw from the game of life to recuperate, relax, and often review the past year and its accomplishments, we are regaining our energy to jump into the new year, and that’s important, but we are also losing our opportunity to start our journey for the coming year off...
