October 2021 Editorial Video-Blog

Hello Everyone,

As we begin October I find myself reflecting on just how much I love this month.  Here in Florida the hot, sultry days of extended summer are finally giving way to our fall weather with its cool nights and temperate days.  We don’t get much of a leaf change here, but the tell-tale signs of fall are all around us, from bird (and snowbird) migrations beginning, to plants and trees dropping their seeds for next spring.  Oh, yes, the pollen count is high.  That’s something we learn to live with here in this tropical paradise.  The scent of jasmine fills the air every evening as the cooler weather brings out those intoxicating blooms.

I feel the excitement of the season unfolding within me as I visit the stores, now filled with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah and Kwanza decorations.  When did that happen? Time seems to have sped up so much that even the holidays come at us all at once these days.  But never mind that.  I love them all, and don’t care if I merely have to visit different parts of the store to enjoy all the displays on the same day!

These are the things that bring me joy every year at this time, and so I share them with you.  But the month of October has another side too, as the end of the month approaches and the veil thins between our world and the next, culminating on Halloween, October 31^st.  I love the spirit of Halloween; from the costumes the children wear to handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.  But perhaps because of the work I do, I am more aware than most of the other world that hovers just beyond sight, and is most powerful at this time of year.  Sometimes the unseen world brings light and joy; sometimes it opens us to our deepest fears and leads us to create bad things in our lives.  As with all things, it’s what you choose to allow in, and what you do with it, that makes the difference between it’s being good or bad for you.

I constantly get questions these days, especially concerning the dark side of the world that lies beyond the veil…until our webinar on the 28th, I’d like to allay some of your fears with the following statement my Guides made in a recent class I was teaching. 

One of my students, Peter, printed it out in our community forum for everyone to read…here it is now, shared with you:

     “I wanted to highlight an important quote by Sandy from last night’s class.  As it represents so well what we are all moving through right now, whether we are working through the Tree of Life or not.
     “We all have those same kinds of issues going on in our lives right now, where things are trying to tempt us away from finding ourselves, from finding our own Truth.  From raising our own vibration to that next level.  And that whole dark side is really, really trying hard to stop us from getting there.  For the simple reason that when we are all in the light, the darkness can’t exist.  It’s that simple. It’s gone.  Don’t you love it?  We’re gonna win, folks.  I have no doubt.”
