Psychic Development Tip #5 - Guided Meditation

Psychic Development Tip #5 - Guided Meditation

In my last psychic development tip I explained that the most important first step to both psychic development and spiritual development is traditional meditation in which you learn techniques to still your mind. If you haven’t reviewed Psychic Development Tip #4  yet, I suggest you do that now.

I mentioned in Tip #4 that guided meditation cannot replace traditional meditation but has great value when it’s used properly. I promised to explain more about it and how you can use it in this Tip.

All guided meditations are a form of hypnosis.  Guided meditation speaks to more than your conscious mind.  It’s true focus is your subconscious mind which is incredibly powerful and is capable of initiating sweeping change and growth in your psyche, and in your life.

Guided meditations in essence reprogram your mind.  For that reason it’s important to trust the source of the guided meditation you are using.  A guide who is an intrinsically negative person could inadvertently affect your subconscious in a negative way.

I like to completely listen to a new guided meditation keeping my conscious mind fully on the words used before I allow myself to fully immerse into it, giving up my own conscious control of my mind.

There are guided meditations to increase awareness, improve psychic ability, open your chakras, meet your Guides, connect to your higher self, create wealth, remove blocks, improve health, and just about anything else you can think of.  My Evolution of Consciousness webinar series program that’s available on my website has many such guided meditations in it.  There are also guided meditations available free of charge all over YouTube.

My advice is to choose what topic interests you, In other words, what you want to achieve via the guided meditation, then be sure you are allowing a trusted source to guide you, then experiment with the guided meditation you chose.  Not all types of guided meditations work equally well for all people.  Experimentation will tell you which work best for you and which you don’t like.  If a guided meditation makes you feel uncomfortable, angry or stressed you should immediately stop using it.

Guided meditations are all vocal.  You may be guided by a male or female or even a computerized voice.  There may be music to enhance the experience.  Some guided meditations also utilize hemi-sync or holo-sync technology or other brain entrainment tools to alter your brainwaves so the guided meditation experience is deeper and longer lasting.  Everyone is different.  When you find a provider that works for you, use this wonderful tool to further your own development. Explore.

Guided meditation can shorten your skill development in many fields, can help you overcome personal challenges, and can enhance your mental, psychological, and physical functions.  It’s a great tool for self-development provided you use it properly.

Like traditional meditation, guided meditation should never be done when operating a car or other heavy equipment.
