Sandy's December 2019 Editorial

Hello Everyone,

As I put my editorial-blog together for this Holiday Season I am realizing that it feels more like an ending to 2019 than the joyous beginning I usually associate with this time of year.

I think this year has both flown by and dragged by, it's been both elating and deflating, successful and filled with loss...in short, it's been filled with more radical ups and downs for most of my clients, students, friends and family than any previous year I can remember, because this roller coaster ride seems to have taken the entire world with it.

As we've approached this end of 2019 I have found myself running for the finish line along with everyone else. It seems we can't get things done fast enough.

From holiday shopping to event planning, to our latest projects at home and work we are running from one thing to another so quickly most of us can no longer remember what we were doing at this same time yesterday. Any obstacles in our path have become mere hurdles to surmount....

Sandy's November 2019 Editorial

Hello Everyone,

When I sat down to put my editorial-blog together this month my mind glanced off many important topics in today’s news - from the political intrigue in Washington and the capital cities of many other nations, to the life struggles of people throughout the Middle East and elsewhere in the world, to the homeless crisis in California, to the need in the US for medical reform and in most nations for social reform.

As all of these thoughts, and more, continued to swirl around in my mind, one thing kept floating to the surface.  It was a concept coupled with a feeling that’s perfect for this month when we traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving here in the US.  The concept is thankfulness and the feeling is gratitude.

How did thoughts of these difficult situations all over the world bring to me that powerful sense of thankfulness?  That overwhelming feeling that all is right with the world in spite of all the chaos we all see around us in the...

Sandy's October Editorial

Hello Everyone,

I just love October!  I love the leaf changes, the first cool breath of Fall, the hint of Winter in the air; I love pumpkins and costumes and most of all I love Halloween!  My memories of Halloween go all the way back to early childhood when we used to go trick-or-treating door to door.  I remember dressing up as a 'bum' and wearing my father's old combat boots that were at least 6 sizes too big for my little size 3 foot.  When the neighborhood boys chased us and egged us I was bringing up the rear in those oh-so-big boots and got my first egg-shampoo!  There were parties and costume contests and do you remember dunking for apples?  Ah, those times were wondrous and glorious and are some of the most cherished of those early years.

As I grew older I learned other things about Halloween, and I'm not just talking about the seances, the haunting's, and the horror movies that seem to come at us from every direction...

Sandys Editorial for September 2019

Hello Everyone,

I've been doing some deep thinking and getting a lot of big downloads from my Guides about a very important subject. The subject is empathy.

Specifically, I've been getting deep insights about the havoc this psychic ability we all have is currently creating in our society and in fact, all over the world. It amazes me that only now, when empathy is creating so many enormous problems, are psychologists and other scientists beginning to explore it as a human attribute we all have and need to recognize and learn to handle.

We psychics have always known how important empathy, and its sister ability, telepathy, is. Now it's time for everyone to recognize that these abilities are shared be everyone.

Frankly, our empathy is out of control right now. That's why my last few psychic development tips have been about recognizing and controlling your empathy.

It's important for you to accept that you have empathy and that you need to learn to control it - or it will control you.

Sandy's Editorial for July 2019

Hello Everyone!

I am writing from the beautiful Elara hotel in Las Vegas where we have come to celebrate Father’s Day and my birthday this year.  It is great to step back for just a moment and catch our breath before diving back into life.

This is a special time with the 4th of July and the start of my new Kabbala Pathworking class on July 10th just around the corner.  Exciting times indeed.  You can read more about those things on my website and as a newsletter recipient you’ll be sure to get the inside scoop on everything that’s coming up in Sandyland.  I promise.

In this moment of reflection I find myself looking back at a dynamic, eventful first half of the year, for us all.  Personally I’ve been faced with challenges that included many health issues for the people I love most, and keeping up with a swiftly growing business, client, and student base.  I owe deep thanks to my small team for helping me make that...

Sandy's June 2019 Editorial

Hello Everyone!

Have you ever had a panic attack? If you have, you’re not alone.

An estimated 6 million Americans alone are subject to them occasionally. It doesn’t matter if you are rich, poor, healthy or sick, or even what religion or race you are. Anyone can have a panic attack. Believe me, if you ever have one, you will know it, though no one truly knows what causes them.

I do know something about having panic attacks, as I am occasionally subject to having one when driving with someone.

I’d like to tell you about a recent experience I had with a panic attack that my Guides helped me work through in a very unique but effective way. I was calm and relaxed in the front passenger seat armed with my hat and my earphones playing calming brainwaves and taking deep belly breaths, my three favorite preventive measures) when a car suddenly zipped from the right lane, two lanes over, through the 10 feet of space between us and the next car, and continued across the...

Sandy's May 2019 Editorial

Hello Everyone,

As you all know, I cancelled my annual Psychic Cruise last January.

At the time, I had no idea why I 'needed' to cancel it, only that I had inner pressure that said, "It is not a good thing to go on this cruise at this time".

It felt a sort of inner resistance. A tendency towards negativity about it that didn't make sense. We were scheduled to visit some ports I'd never been to before and really wanted to see. When I pushed myself to look at those destinations online I just couldn't get excited about them. I kept feeling like I just didn't want to leave home.

I'd even been dragging my feet about scheduIing events for our psychic group while on the cruise, something I love to do. I told myself I was just too busy to get to it...but even when I made time and sat down with the things I needed to create the onboard itinerary my mind turned to soup. I couldn't focus. I kept putting the cruise out of my mind. I just didn't want to think about it.

The signs were all there....

Sandy's April 2019 Editorial

Hello Everyone,

I was thinking earlier, just what was it that got me started? What was it that shifted my professional life from Safety Engineer to Professional Psychic? The answer that came to me was simple. It was my destiny grown out of other people's desire. "What desire, you ask?" A desire we all have.

The desire to know the future.

That is why people have come to me for psychic readings and coaching for nearly 40 years. That is why students came to me asking to learn how to do what I do in the 1970's. That is the reason that tarot was the first class I ever taught in my small apartment in North Babylon, N.Y. That is the reason the initial classes that became the Anastasi System of Psychic Development launched in 1979.

We all have, it seems, a thirst for foreknowledge. Some of us just want to benefit from it. Others want to learn how to do it.

The future is a fickle, constantly moving, forever forming and reforming complex of energies. Mathemeticians, economists, investors,...

Sandy's March 2019 Editorial

Hello Everyone,

People often ask me how I first got into doing psychic readings. I can do future oriented astrology, tarot, numerology, runes, channeled and Guided readings, mediumship, even palmistry and tea leaf readings.

Yet I started out not even realizing I was psychic. I believe that studying and working with all of these tools helped my psychic ability to develop. Today I can do a reading with no tools at all, just reading the energy or channeling the information from my Guides and my client's Guides. But I still love these amazing tools, especially tarot cards.

My students are often surprised when I tell them that the first 'tool' I picked up and learned to read with was the tarot. Because of that, the tarot will always be near and dear to my heart.

I actually learned the tarot from a one-night lecture in which the speaker flashed all 78 tarot cards and gave a simple meaning for each card. I recorded the lecture, a habit of mine, and in the ensuing days played the...

Sandy's February Editorial: Love

Hello Everyone,

I want to wish you all peace and happiness and above all, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE as we move deeper into this 2019 transitional year.  I especially want to wish you a happy Valentine's Day.

Most people are unaware that Valentine's Day is a very old holiday, originating in the year 496. Wikpedia suggests that  the tradition was probably taken from the Roman festival Lupercalia that officially marked the start of their springtime.  St. Valentine himself was beheaded by the Roman Emperor Claudius II, supposedly for marrying Christian couples.  The histories are cloudy; no one is sure if St. Valentine was a simple temple priest, or the Bishop of Terni.  But when you put these histories together, it's easy to see that Valentine's day is symbolic of births and new beginnings of all kinds, most especially relationships, as well as the sacrifices we make for love and the unconditional expression of love.  Right from the beginning it...
