Hello Everyone,

As we begin October I find myself reflecting on just how much I love this month.  Here in Florida the hot, sultry days of extended summer are finally giving way to our fall weather with its cool nights and temperate days.  We don’t get much of a leaf change here, but the tell-tale signs of fall are all around us, from bird (and snowbird) migrations beginning, to plants and trees dropping their seeds for next spring.  Oh, yes, the pollen count is high.  That’s something we learn to live with here in this tropical paradise.  The scent of jasmine fills the air every evening as the cooler weather brings out those intoxicating blooms.

I feel the excitement of the season unfolding within me as I visit the stores, now filled with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah and Kwanza decorations.  When did that happen? Time seems to have sped up so much that even the holidays come at us all at once these days.  But never mind that.  I love them all, and don’t care if I mer...

Hello Everyone,

We are entering high-summer here in the Western Hemisphere, and as we do I feel my spirits rising to meet the sun.  The Fourth of July, Independence Day here in the US, is here. 

I feel like this is a time of rebirth for all of us.  I am proud to be an American, and even more proud to be a world-citizen of Planet Earth,  I am overjoyed to be moving into a mask-free, covid-free, humanity-being-free summer here in Southwest Florida where I live. 

Hooray for us!  Hooray for all of us, everywhere.

I recently had a bittersweet experience that mixed loss with love in a most wonderful way that I’d like to share with you.

As many of you know by now, my passion is Psychic Development and Kabbala Pathworking and Spiritual Evolution…but my most loved hobby is breeding and raising Pekingese dogs.

My most confident and successful mommy dog is Mini.  Well, Mini delivered her most recent litter on April 8^th, and what was expected to be an easy delivery, as always before, turned out to be a severe trial that nearly killed our poor girl, and did result in the death of one of her pups.  You see, three of the pups were born sideways.  That is rare, and almost always requires a c-section.  Mini had all these puppies naturally, but the process caused severe bleeding and infection and she had to be neutered to save her life.  She spent 4 days in ...

Firstly, I want to wish you a very Happy Holiday Season, and an extra special New Year!  You deserve that.  We all do.  It’s time for some self-indulgence, time to invest in the people and things that make you feel good, and time to find again the joy and happiness that comes with this Holiday Season and celebrating that joy with those we love most.

As I was getting ready to write this month’s editorial I found myself looking back at this past year, a year that will long be remembered for the year our world struggled with a major pandemic, was rocked by political struggles, and went through some of the most major shifts and changes we’ve ever experienced.

It’s easy, especially when accosted on all sides by nay-sayers and caustic media, to slide into depression and fear and insecurity and yes, even panic.  I have many clients who call me, and relatives and friends who reach out, looking for a rock to hold onto in the sea of emotional turmoil that seems to surround us ...
