Firstly, I want to wish all of you a Happy 4^th of July from here in the USA where I live.  To me, the 4^th of July, Independence Day here in America, represents freedom and independence of spirit as well as body, for all of us.  It is a special day to set aside in your life, wherever you are, to celebrate those things in your own world.

As an astrologer and a psychic channel, I have been aware of the many changes occurring now in our world for many, many years before they began to become visible to everyone.  Those changes are part of our evolution and growth both individually and as a species.

As we begin this month of June, I find it particularly interesting to follow the astrological transits that apply to fatherhood.  What I see, in these transits, is that our understanding of the male principle is changing. 

This is important for us all to understand. Even women have a male component in their make-up, so this change in perspective affects both men and women. The male principle in the Universe is the generative, action-oriented principle. But it’s also the responsible provider, and the patient guide and teacher, who is sometimes the disciplinarian.  In the last few years, to me, the male principle in our world seems to have been about selfishness, a me-first kind of energy, characterized by thoughtless and sometimes mindless action. My heart is heavy this month, as I look back at the recent passing of several of my cherished friends who also just happen to have been World-Changers.  They will be missed, not just by me, but by many hundreds of thousands of people who followed their work, and whose lives were changed as a result of that experience.  I am only one of the many people whose lives these three wonderful human beings touched.  I give deepest thanks to them all.

Each of these World-Changers, in their own way, was a nurturer, so it is fitting that I should choose to honor them in my editorial this month, when we celebrate Mother’s Day.  To me, Mother’s Day honors the eternal feminine, the nurturer, in all of us.

Let’s talk about CHOICE.

 I’ve been thinking about that word a lot lately, and I think it’s time to share my thoughts about it.

We are all making tough choices right now.  Have you made any choices lately?  Were they about major, earth-shattering things in your life, or were they relatively minor, like what to eat for breakfast today?  I think of those little choices as practice choices; they are helping to get you ready for the big ones in your life.

     I have gradually come to see the ability to make clear, well-thought through, un-regrettable choices in your life as being one of the corner stones to growing up and to awakening to the fully conscious, spiritual being that you are.

This March feels special to me.  They say that March comes in ‘like a lion’ and goes out ‘like a lamb’.  I think that is exactly what we are all going to experience this month, and in many ways, not just the weather.  We are, it seems, in the midst of major change in our world.
    
When we began the 2022 year, the planet Mars was in opposition to Uranus, which I always identify as an accident-prone aspect in an individual’s astrology chart, but in the world, it also has a way of bringing about sudden changes and surprises, upheavals, and occasionally wars and stand-off’s.  Note that the opposition aspect can be understood as a literal tug-of-war.  Mars is energy and action, and Uranus is revolution and change, but also opportunity.  So, you can see that this aspect that overshadows the entire 2022 year is indeed bringing about all those things.

I’ve been wondering lately what it would be like if all mankind joined together in projecting a peaceful, joyous, harmonious future, a future without boundaries, where any dream is possible.  A boundless future where no one goes hungry, no one suffers or is ill, no one who wants to work is jobless, where there is unity, yet where people’s differences are celebrated, where everyone has the love and support of everyone else, a world where everyone is awake.  A world in which we all recognize our own individual power as co-creators. A world in which we are all ‘family’ to one another.  I truly believe this is not only possible, I believe it is coming.

Happy New Year!  As we begin this new year together, I am filled with hope and anticipation.  I hope that the many trials and challenges we have all faced during the tumultuous 2021 year have already, or will soon, be resolved.  I hope that healing will be brought to all those communities and individuals who suffered during our 2021 year of change and transition. I applaud all those who found success, love, and new lives in the midst of all that transition.  And I am filled with joy and anticipation for the year to come.  My Guides have shown me so many new and wonderful things that are coming to us!

December is a wonderful time of year, as so many faiths and cultures celebrate their year end holidays that make way for anticipated new beginnings for the coming year.  I love it.

I love the social gatherings, the friends and family time, the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping. I love the music as old and comforting songs and hymns fill the air.  I love the quiet moments, time around the fire, and decorating, and those special moments deep in meditation and prayer.  I even love the hours of cooking and baking and the kitchen gossip that follows every feast. These are my memories of simpler times.  I still cherish them. I re-create them whenever I can.  This year is no exception!

My editorial-video-blog for this month is an unusual, but very important one.  It’s about your fears, and why it’s so important for people everywhere to work on identifying, controlling, and eliminating their fears. 

First, you need to understand what fear is and does. Fear is a primal emotion who’s only positive purpose is to prevent you from taking action that could cause you harm. We teach our children to fear doing something inherently dangerous that they cannot yet understand with their developing minds.  In animals fear is often instinctive, helping to preserve the species.  Fear is an animal reflex. 

In the book/movie, Dune, by Frank Herbert, the Mother Superior says that any HUMAN can control and overcome their fears.  This is true.  All fears can be overcome and replaced with common sense thought once they are recognized and the thing that is feared is understood.  Then the thinking mind can replace...

As we begin October I find myself reflecting on just how much I love this month.  Here in Florida the hot, sultry days of extended summer are finally giving way to our fall weather with its cool nights and temperate days.  We don’t get much of a leaf change here, but the tell-tale signs of fall are all around us, from bird (and snowbird) migrations beginning, to plants and trees dropping their seeds for next spring.  Oh, yes, the pollen count is high.  That’s something we learn to live with here in this tropical paradise.  The scent of jasmine fills the air every evening as the cooler weather brings out those intoxicating blooms.

I feel the excitement of the season unfolding within me as I visit the stores, now filled with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah and Kwanza decorations.  When did that happen? Time seems to have sped up so much that even the holidays come at us all at once these days.  But never mind...
