In this Tarot Tip I’m expanding on what you learned in my Tarot Tip #27, where I showed you how to find key people in your client’s life, like their mother, father, children, friends, and significant other, using the Astrological layout.

     You now know how to lay your cards out in a circle using 12 cards, starting at the 9 o’clock position and placing them counter-clockwise around the circle.  If you know astrology you can just think of this as an astrology chart layout.

     In astrology, we call this technique, “spinning the wheel”.  It works quite well in the Tarot as well!
     Here’s where to find more key people in your client’s life using this layout:

Best friend – 3 o’clock position, or 7^th house.
Colleague – 4 o’clock position, or 6^th house.
Siblings – 7 o’clock position, or 3^rd house.  That also describes specifically your oldest sib.
   Your second oldest sibling is the 5 o’clock position, or the 5^th house.

     If you’ve read my Astrological and Psychic Tips for March, you are already aware from my overview, that this month is going to be filled with powerful and life altering things for us all.  The Sun, Saturn, Mercury, and the N. Node are all in Pisces, making a trine, which is an easy flow of energy, to Mars, which is in Cancer.  These are water signs, which makes everything about this aspect emotional.  Those emotions will be on the world stage as well as in your personal life.  The fact that Mars in Cancer is making a hard square aspect to the Moon, Venus and Chiron in Aries only ads to all that emotion and a gives a feeling that we want to do something about it!

An Overview of the Transits for March 2025 and How They Will Affect You:

   Wow.  This month will be one to remember. A stellium of 5 planets in Pisces is going to change the world, and your life – in a good way, I think.  These planets are all tightly piled up close to one another and emphasize responsibility, honesty, helping, exposing anything that doesn’t work, and healing. Expect changes in the realm of communications, especially regarding the media as well as your personal telephone and computing devices.

There are two eclipses this month as well.  The first will be a Lunar eclipse occurring at 24 degrees of Virgo on the 14^th, and the second is a Solar eclipse occurring at 9 degrees of Aries on the 29^th.  Both are very significant, so don’t forget to keep your eclipse diary, which will show you your next 6 months, and possibly help you to make upcoming life-altering decisions you’ll soon be facing as well.  Keep your diary from March 1 through April 14^th.

 In my Last tarot tip, I showed you how to easily identify a client’s pet when using an Astrological Layout for your reading. 

     As you are well aware, identifying who people are in your client’s life is one of the most challenging things for a new tarot reader to learn.  Most tarot spreads rely on the reader’s intuition to identify the person, or if the reader can give enough insight from the cards themselves into the persons personality, we hope that the client can identify the person themselves.

     The astrological layout makes people identification easy, as each person in your client’s life occupies a different position in the reading. There is no guessing involved!

It’s Path 14, “The Illuminating Intelligence”

I love that this card shows the lovers surrounded by the suggestion of a heart shape, a reminder that in spite of all that is going on in the world, this is February, and the 14^th is St. Valentines day, when we traditionally celebrate the loves in our lives.  On the Tree of Life this Path is the final major initiation, and joins the two sides of the Tree, bridging the male and female energies together in a veritable explosion of energy and life.

In my last few tarot tips, I’ve been talking about how to find and talk about your client’s pet in their reading.  Now I’m going to tell you about a very special layout that will allow you to find just about anything in your client’s life just by its position in the layout.

This card layout is called The Astrological Layout.  It’s one of the most versatile and commonly used card layouts in the world of tarot.

The Astrological Layout uses 12 cards and they are usually laid out in a circle, though I’ve seen some readers who prefer to lay them out in a straight line, left to right.  Personally, I prefer the circle as not only does it mirror the traditional astrology chart format, but the circle is a very symbolic geometrical symbol in the tarot, having no beginning and no end.
