An Overview of the June 2024 Transits and How They Will Affect You:

     As June begins, we’re all going to feel energized and ready to charge forward with our well-laid plans, only to find all the things we need to change or do before we can our next steps.  We want to take action, but it’s likely we’ll become bogged down in more thinking, talking, and planning.  If we do decide to move forward, it’s going to feel a bit like stepping forward into the unknown without a safety net. 
     Two major transits deserve special attention.  First, Neptune seems poised to enter Aries, the sign of action and war, being now at 29 degrees and 40 minutes of Pisces, where it has spent the last 13 years. Tarot Tip #18 – Love and the Tarot Suits part 1:

     I’ve often wished that tarot, as well as other metaphysical studies, was taught to children in school. If young people learned about this tip early in life, as adults they’d all get along with one another a lot better, and their relationships would be filled with understanding instead of conflict.
    
Earlier in this series of Tarot Tips I explained that each of the four suits of the tarot relates to a different element.  To remind you, the suit of Wands relates to the element of fire, Pentacles to earth, Swords to air, and Cups to water. In my earlier Tip I gave insight into how each suit in the cards brought a different feeling to the reading because each element has distinctly different characteristics.  Wands/Fire is very physical and action oriented, Pentacles/Earth is materialistic but often spiritual, Swords/Air is social and intellectual, and Cups/Water is emotional and intuitive.

Hello Everyone,

     As we move  into the Summer months, we celebrate the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice, and Father’s Day, that always falls very close to the Solstice. I always feel my spirit lifting and expanding as this time of year approaches.  I was born on the Summer Solstice , so perhaps that is one reason why this time of year resonates so powerfully for me.

     When I was a child I looked forward to it with the same anticipation I did to Christmas.  In fact, since I was born on my mother’s birthday, we chose to celebrate our birthday’s on Father’s Day, which always fell on a Sunday close to the Solstice, making it a special day that celebrated all of us.  My sister got gifts too on that day, since we wouldn’t dream of leaving her out.  She was the fourth person in our small family, but had the bad luck of being born in the fall, near the Fall Equinox.  So the Summer Solstice became special for her, too.  We all looked forward to summer vacation, to the luxury...

On May 2^nd Pluto begins it’s retrograde back into Capricorn, where it spent the last 19 years.  Our window into the next 19 years that it gifted us with between January 22^nd and May 2^nd is gone.  If you have important points in your astrology chart (Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Sout Node) in a cardinal sign – Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, get ready to experience Pluto’s ‘last licks’ as it begins to move through it’s retrograde.  It will bring back events, things, even people and situations from your past…some good, some bad…but you will have to deal with them and make decisions about them all over again.  Remember to take care of what you need to, but don’t get over-emotional.  If you do, you’ll drag those things into your future. On September 3^rd Pluto re-enters Capricorn.  It turns direct on October 12^th but remains in Capricorn until November 20^th when, f...

 In my Tarot Tip #16 I talked about the various cards in the deck that show you a love relationship is happening in your reading, and I promised to talk about the people involved in those relationships in my next tip.  So, let’s get started.

     Obviously, the Court Cards of the Minor Arcana and certain of the ‘people cards’ of the Major Arcana, will be the actual people in your client’s life that the cards might talk about.  The Court Cards would be the King, Queen, Knight, or Page of each suite.  The ‘people’ cards of the Major Arcana are the High Priestess, The Empress, and The Emperor, and occasionally I have seen the Magician and the Hermit also representing people in my client’s life.

An Overview of April 2024 Transits and How They Will Affect You:

     This month will be an important one, folks, for getting a look at things to come.  You should still be keeping your Pluto journal, that you started on January 22^nd and will finish on May 2^nd, that gives you a look at the next 19 years, especially regarding world changes.  But this month we also should keep our eclipse diary, that offers us a look into the next six months of our own lives.  Your eclipse diary should begin back around March 11^th and continue through April 22^nd.  The astrological chart for the month is scattered and shows efforts in a lot of diverse directions, but also many distractions.  A cardinal T-Square is likely to keep us focused on home and family issues for most of the month, and domestic things relative to world events. Tensions will build but we’ll mostly be running in place in our lives until near the end of the month, when we can expect to see some action on the things we’ve been putting ...

     I want to wish all of you a Happy Spring as we launch wholeheartedly into what is undoubtedly the most dynamic time of the year.  March 21^st, when the Sun moved into Aries, was officially the first day of Spring; but I feel like it’s really just beginning now.

     As a long-time teacher of the Tarot, and of Astrology, I have come to have a deep relationship to the four elements – air, earth, fire, and water.  Each of those elements rules it’s own season of the year.  As you can imagine, the Spring season is ruled by the element of Fire, as Aries, the first sign in the zodiac, appearing on the horizon at this time of year, is a Fire Sign.
