The world today is progressive and far more open to the psychic-intuitive field than ever before.  Best selling books on empathy, for example, are more and more common.  Most television shows have an element of intuition or even outright psychism in them. 

But that doesn’t mean that your friends and family will easily accept that YOU are psychic.  There is an old saying – “A prophet is never a prophet in his home town”.

I’ve been teaching psychic development for over 40 years and I believe one of the greatest blocks that developing students face is lack of support from those close to them, and sometimes even actual opposition or undermining might occur.

For someone just opening their psychic gifts, that lack of support, even subtle unintentional undermining, can hold back, delay, even stunt your abilities.

Visualization is one of your most important psychic tools.  It is through visualization and the projection of your emotions that you actually create the physical reality that you live in.  People who can visualize well are generally much better senders and receivers, and are often better at communicating their needs to others by everyday means as well.  You can see why this is a tool that is worth developing.

Psychic Development Tip # 50 – Centering Yourself

One of the most important things to learn if you want to be able to develop, control and use your psychic abilities to their utmost, is to be able to center yourself and remain centered.

What do I mean when I say ‘center yourself’? I mean that you should be able to place yourself in a mental and emotional state where you remain undisturbed no matter what is going on around you.  When you are properly centered in yourself, you will not be distracted from what is real in your world, or from what you are focusing on to accomplish or achieve.  You will not be disturbed by someone else’s emotional outburst, or a newscast, or even chaotic things going on around you in your environment.  You will be able to remain steady and focused in any situation.

Clairalience is an amazing and much overlooked psychic tool.

It’s development in the beginner is often so subtle that it is easy to overlook.  You might, for example, find yourself reacting to a scent in the air as you enter a space, that is unpleasant enough to cause you to leave.  This might confuse you, as the friend that you were with smelled nothing unusual at all.  But if you did a little research, you might find that the place you were about to visit had a reputation for misrepresentation, malpractice, or even theft.  Your psychic sense of smell may have just given you a strong warning that saved the day.  Like all of the claire’s, the more you begin to recognize your psychic sense of smell or taste at work, and the more positive reinforcement you give it, the more powerfully it will begin to work.

Clairaudience, or ‘clear hearing’, is one of your most powerful and helpful psychic gifts, yet it is very misunderstood and often overlooked.  As with all of the ‘Clair’s’, all of us already have this gift inborn, most of us have experienced it even if we don’t know it, and all of us can develop it to a high level of skill.

There are two types of Clairaudience.  The obvious one is that you hear something with your physical ears that sounds like the voice or sound is coming from a source outside yourself, but no one else around you is hearing it.  The reason I say it’s obvious is that when it happens, you definitely recognize it as it’s happening.  Many people will hear their name being called, when there is no one else in the house, or just as they are awakening from sleep, when they are alone.  This can seem so real that you find yourself turning the house upside down looking for where that voice came...

I’ve talked about how telepathy can be divided into two distinct types, ‘receptive’ and ‘projective’ or what is sometimes referred to as ‘generative’ telepathy.  When projecting a thought, you are the ‘sender’.  When receiving a thought, you are the ‘receiver’.  Everyone is capable of doing both.  Here’s some more information it will be handy to know about telepathy, and in particular, projective telepathy.

Clairvoyance, the ability to ‘see’ things in the unseen, energetic world around us that most people do not see, develops naturally as you work to open your psychic gifts and evolve your personal energy to a higher level of consciousness.

When you see clairvoyantly, you are opening your 3^rd eye or ‘Ajna’ center in your forehead.  This psychic center is located at the root of your nose, and close to the center of your head.  It is physically associated with your Pineal gland – a tiny organ in your brain that swells at puberty and then becomes tiny again as people move into adulthood. Interestingly, in Yogi’s and Psychics it also tends to be larger.  Often when you are using this center you will feel a certain tingling or even pressure in your forehead, or between your eyes. The more you use your 3^rd eye and stimulate it, the larger and better developed it, and your clairvoyance, will become.

You now know that each one of your physical senses has a psychic counterpart that is the physical sense actually expanding into the energetic world of psychic phenomenon.   This expansion as you develop your psychic senses gives you the ability to absorb and deliver information from the unseen world around us.
